Balaborhati in the north of Bangladesh is a very small community in a country that does not attract many tourists, let alone tourists visiting this remote village. So when a big white Dutch guy stays for 8 days in their village; that is a big event.

Sometimes I imagined they must have considered me almost an alien; coming from another world. But I was as much deeply interested in them as they were interested in me.
